Our goal is to unclutter our stock and we want to offer you the chance to do the same. We understand that sometimes you outgrow items. And it is not right to let them catch dust. Therefore, we give you the opportunity to return your item to us and receive a giftcard for your next purchase. We’re taking back items until August 28th.
What happens with my past trophy?
We take your item and treat it so that it hopefully becomes someone’s else’s treasure in the near future.
This is how it works:
1. You email a photo of your item to firstname.lastname@example.org or you come by in our shop after August 21.
2. We determine the value of your item.
3. We give you the credit on a The Boyscouts giftcard.
4. You can spend it on a new item that fits who you are today. (Valid until November 30thof this year, not in combination with discounts.)

We offer easy shipping, extended returns and a bonus gift. These are the terms and conditions:
Free shipping and free returns in The Netherlands on all orders above 50 euro.
When purchasing an online order, we offer you free shipping and free returns in The Netherlands with a minimum of 50 euro. Free shipping will indicate automatically at check out.
We've extended our return policy to 30 days. If you would like to return (a part of) your order, please let us know by email and we will send you a digital return label which you need to print yourself. Once packed and ready, you can drop it at a DHL parcel shop. Contact email@example.com when you need a return label. We will refund the amount of the return minus the shipping cost for your location.
Flat delivery rate in EU
We offer a flat delivery rate of €8 for orders to Belgium, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Denmark, UK and Sweden. Free shipping with orders from €100 and up.
Lowered minimum purchase amount
We've lowered the minimum purchase amount for free shipping in the rest of EU and World.
Free shipping in EU with orders from €200 and up.
Free shipping in the rest of the World with orders from €300 and up.

Once you’ve purchased an online order, and the item is in stock, it takes 1-3 business days (inside The Netherlands) or 3-7 business days (outside The Netherlands) to process your order and deliver it at your doorstep.

You will receive an order confirmation with this delivery time notification.
As soon as your order is picked, you will receive a shipping information by email. It is waiting for the shipping company to be collected. Once picked up and shipped, you will receive an email with a track and trace code. This way, you can check the status of your delivery.
Did you select ‘Pick Up at Store’? You will receive an email as soon as your order is ready for pick up. When ordered before 10am, your order will be ready the same day. You are welcome to pick up your parcel during opening hours of our store at Diergaardesingel 60A, Rotterdam.

Shipping Costs And Delivery
Not able to visit our flag ship store? We are happy to send your trophies to your place.
Sending your parcel within The Netherlands will cost €3,95 and will be shipped by DHL. It takes only 1-3 business days (after payment) to process your order. Once your order is packed and shipped, you receive a track-and-trace code through us. Free shipping on orders from €200.
Within Europe it will cost €11 up to €24 depending on which area it needs to be shipped to. The costs will be calculated once you’ve filled in your address details. It takes 3-7 business days (after payment) to process your order. Orders for Europe will receive a track-and-trace code once the parcel is packed and shipped, from the third party that's shipping your items. Free shipping on orders from €300.
Worldwide & Swiss
The price of shipping your item outside Europe is €32. The costs will be calculated once you’ve filled in your address details. Orders for Worldwide will receive a track-and-trace code once the parcel is packed and shipped, from the third party that's shipping your items. Free shipping on orders from €400.
Unfortunately, our prices don't include local taxes, duties, brokerage fees or other fees that you may be charged to receive your The Boyscouts trophies at home. We advise you to consider all fees, because once your order arrives you'll be required to pay all taxes, duties etcetera. And we won't be able to refund these costs if you change your mind.
Availability Of Our Jewelry
Out of stock
Our jewelry is made by hand and for the most part on request, which means that our stock is dynamic. This sometimes results in pieces momentarily being not directly available for purchase. For this it implies a longer delivery time, think about 6-8 weeks after your purchase, although we are doing our utmost best to get it at your place earlier.
Since we would still like to offer you the possibility to order the piece of your liking, we added the ‘made to order’ option to our webshop. This means that soon as we’ve received your order, we start working on it. So really, all it means is that we’re making an item just for you and it might take us a bit longer than usual. A notification appears when an item is out of stock.

We present a continuous collection, which we enrich with new designs on a regular basis. This means that it might occur that we say goodbye to an existing design. If it says ‘sold out’, it means we don’t have this trophy in stock and it won’t be longer produced.
Our curated vintage selection consists of solely unique rings; these are personally selected and freshen up, and of each ring exists only 1. If a vintage ring says ‘sold out’, it means the ring is sold and we don’t have this trophy in stock anymore.
Made to order: fine jewelry
We love to see you mark your moment with solid gold! We use 14k recycled solid gold for our handmade trophies. All ordered fine jewelry items are especially made for you, on a 'made to order' base.
As we understand that some solid golden trophies are needed sooner (hello, engagement ring! Hi, wedding band!) we are often able to make your special trophy within 3-4 weeks (not during holiday seasons). Please contact our customer service to talk about the possibilities.
When purchasing a fine jewelry, you can add notes to your order in which you can inform us about your personal wishes (for example a ring size other than indicated with the purchase). Returns And Exchanges
We offer a 30-day return and exchange policy from the date of delivery. If you wish to return or exchange an item, please follow the instructions below:
1 Inform us by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Make sure you mention your #order number, name and reason for the return/exchange.
2 Place the item(s) securely in its original package together with a filled in reclamation form so we can match the return/exchange to you. Please send it within 5 days after your notification to our Studio address:

We advise to send it as a mailbox post with a track and trace. As soon as we have received the return in a perfect condition we will start the refund/exchange procedure. Returned items are to be unused (other than for trying them on), undamaged, without scratches. Damaged items will not be accepted.
When returning/exchanging outside EU, please pay attention because this part is important: make sure to mention RETURNED GOODS on the package, and fill in a warranty invoice at your local postal office with a value of $35/€35. Failing to do so will result in being charged local customs, which you will have to pay. If you need any additional information, contact email@example.com, so we can help you out.
3 Items with an engraving, resizing or any other personal adjustments are not applicable for a refund or exchange. As these items are especially made for you, we cannot take it back.
4 In case of a return: it will take up to 14 days to process your return and refund. You will be refunded in the same way you have paid. If it takes longer, please contact us via firstname.lastname@example.org to find out the status.
5 In case of an exchange: it will take up to 7 days to process your exchange. We will send you the new selected item – when in stock. If an item is not in stock, we will contact you by email and let you know the average time of arrival. When exchanging for another item, you won’t be charged for shipping costs again. If you feel the need to exchange it for the second time, shipping costs will be charged.
Please note that the shipping costs of the return are covered by you, not by The Boyscouts. As we aim to pollute the planet as little as possible, we don't encourage shipping items back and forth.This also goes for exchanges.

If you returned your order following the instructions, it will take up to 14 days to process your return and refund after receiving the returned package. Please note: damaged items will not be accepted and therefore (partially) not refunded.
We choose to work only with the pure precious metals sterling silver and gold. Our experience shows that materials such as brass and copper often have an allergic reaction to the skin. Production with brass and copper is cheaper, but the replacement effect is all the greater. We do not want to participate in fast fashion and the current disposable lifestyle: our trophies are for you to cherish and to wear anytime. Forever.
The only items in which we use brass, are the Bracelet Seize Round and the Necklace Cosmic, with a silver or gold plating. It gives the jewelry a strong base so you can wear it a lifetime.
We offer our jewelry in sterling silver 925, with a possible 18kt gold plating. When we talk about gold plated items, the sterling silver product is covered with a thin layer (3 micron) of 18kt gold. This gives the golden finish to a trophy.
Keep in mind that plated items will get traces of wear in the end and the gold plating will fade. Always. It depends on your pH value of your skin, the average use and how you treat your jewelry on how quickly it will appear. Luckily, we offer a trophy care service where we can give your item some tender, love and care and a new gold plated finish. Feel free to contact us via email@example.com if you have any questions of this concern. We are here to help you out.
All jewelry needs tender, love and care. It is best to store your trophies in a closed jewelry box (for example in The Boyscouts box), and we recommend taking off your jewelry before going to sleep, showering, gardening, exercising or going to the sauna. Regular polishing with a silver polishing cloth is also a must; this way you give oxidized silver jewelry (silver items that turned black) back their sparkling shine.
If your trophy has a defect within six months after you purchased it, you can send it back to us after reporting it through our customer service and we'll repair it free of charge.
If your trophy broke after six months, as items occasionally do, you can make use of our trophy care service. For a friendly price we'll repair your item and send it back to you, good as new. Our trophy care service starts at 25 euros (this does not include shipping) and can be ordered here. Inform us by sending an email with some images of your broken item to firstname.lastname@example.org. This way, we can check the possibilities of your repair and inform you about the next step.
When we talk about gold plated items, our sterling silver product is covered with a thin layer (3 micron) of 18kt gold. This gives the golden finish to a trophy. After a while, depending on several causes, gold plating will slowly fade. Always. That’s why we offer trophy care, our service where we take care of your item. Once polished and replated, your trophy will be as new again.

We can often resize solid gold (vintage) rings, depending on the design of the ring and the stone setting. The additional costs are €30. Per request, you can select 'solid gold' option in our trophy care section and add a note to your order with the correct size.
